Club Policies
We would appreciate your adherence to the proper attire as specified below. It is important that members and their guests preserve the decorum and rich traditions of the Club. The relaxed dress code is limited to specific areas and business attire continues to be recommended.
Jacket and tie (similar business attire for women) is required on the Green Porch, Main Dining Room and is recommended throughout the Club. Courtesy jackets and ties are available at the Front Desk for members and their guests.
The Business Casual “Jackets Requested But Not Required” Policy is permitted in the Red Grill, 2nd Floor Private Meeting Rooms and on the Front Club Terrace during the summer season. No jeans or sports attire allowed. Tasteful and smart attire is expected for both ladies and gentlemen.
Members of a uniformed organization such as military, police and similar organizations may be attired in the dress uniform of the day.
Members of the clergy may be attired in customary clerical garb.
Casual Attire is permitted in the Armstrong Grill Sports Club and Fitness Areas only.
Supervisory members of the staff and the Club management will have the particular responsibility for enforcement of the dress code in all areas of the Clubhouse. It is the responsibility of any member inviting a guest into the clubhouse to inform such guest of the requirements of the dress code. Members or guests who will not comply with the dress code rules may be asked to leave the Clubhouse and repeated or willful violations will be brought to the attention of the House Committee.
